we notice birds more in the spring- I put peanuts out for the bluejays and the crows chase them off. I see robins building nests-- lovely image here with apt sentiment.
Winter here is the time to see the birds, I'm a bit further south then you Donna. For the past 2 months we had sizable flocks of Cedar Waxwings, and friends would alert me to where they were. Now they are heading up to you! I would love to see the robins nest being built.
